A picture's worth a 1000 words, let's talk video!
One of the most important aspects of this website design project was to quickly and effectively convey the character and friendliness of the Colliers Farm B&B. The answer we arrived at was to commission a video shoot with scenes from the property being neatly spliced into a interview of Marina Shellard, the owner of the B&B. The biggest challenge here was to convince Marina that she would be great on video!
Our deadline for this project was incredibly tight and the shoot day was typically damp and foggy but I think you will agree the video team came up with a wonderful video that truly conveys why Colliers Farm is such a wonderful B&B. We would like to also add that Marina was a natural in front of the camera…well done to all!

Our new website is fantastic and a perfect on-line representation of our luxury boutique B&B, giving potential guests a real glimpse into what a stay at Colliers Farm will be like. Another SEO success for a client...
Hotels, B&Bs and hostels…in short very difficult in Search Engine Optimisations (SEO) terms. We have all heard of the big commercial websites, tripadvisor.co.uk to name one, and they command the top spots in the search engine rankings. They have great big SEO budgets and use the web as their main promotional tool, with this in mind we knew we were up against it in getting Colliers Farm to the front page of Google.
With this in mind we chose to approach the SEO on two fronts. Whilst working hard on the normal organic search result rankings we also concentrated on the Google Local rankings as these can often be an easier way to get the top spots in Google. With a lot of work we have managed to secure Colliers the top spot for their chosen keyword in Google Local as well as #6 in the organic results…a real success in a difficult arena!
